From an Associated Press tweet: Decision Desk HQ projects that @JoeBiden .has won Pennsylvania and its 20 electoral college votes for a total of 273. Biden takes small lead in Georgia . . . Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden took a narrow lead over President Donald Trump in the battleground state of Georgia early on Friday, edging closer to winning the White House in a nail-biting contest as a handful of undecided states continue to count votes. Biden has a 253 to 214 lead in the state-by-state Electoral College vote that determines the winner, according to most major television
networks. Winning Georgia’s 16 electoral votes would put the former vice president on the cusp of the 270 he needs to secure the presidency. Reuters
New cases set record with 120K infections . . .
Coronavirus cases in the United States surged by at least 120,276 on Thursday, according to a Reuters tally - the second consecutive daily record rise as the outbreak spreads in every region. U.S. cases have risen by over 100,000 for three out of the last seven days, putting pressure on hospitals in several states and causing
families to rethink their plans for Thanksgiving dinner on November 26. Twenty out of 50 states reporting record one-day increases on Thursday. Reuters
Mutant strain in Denmark's mink could cause new pandemic . . . The coronavirus mutation discovered in Denmark’s mink could spark a new wave of the illness in the country, scientists warn. Authorities in Denmark — the world’s largest producer of mink furs — said five cases
of the new virus strain had been recorded on mink farms and 12 cases in humans. The mutation showed a decreased sensitivity against antibodies, meaning it could potentially cause a COVID-19 vaccine to be less effective, experts said. New York Post

Trump lashes out as Biden gains . . . Trump spoke from the White House shortly before 7 p.m. and boasted of wins in key states, saying a Democratic “blue wave” never materialized. He assailed public polls for overstating Mr. Biden’s advantage, saying they suppressed the Republican vote. “If you count the legal votes, I easily win,” he said. “If you count the illegal votes, they can try to steal the election from us.” Former Vice President Joe
Biden said Thursday “each ballot must be counted,” as vote counting continued in key battleground states. Mr. Trump attacked the vote-counting process in a handful of closely contested states where he initially had stronger margins that have since shrunk as the counts continued. He didn’t raise concerns about the vote-counting process in any of the states he has won. Wall Street Journal
Biden lead continues to decline in Arizona . . . Joe Biden’s lead continued to shrink in Arizona after more vote tallies were released Thursday evening in a state that the Associated Press and Fox News have already put in the former vice president’s column but that Republicans and some election experts say remains too close to call. As of early Friday morning, Mr. Biden was ahead of President Trump by roughly 46,300 votes with about 90% of the
state’s expected total vote counted, according to the AP. Wall Street Journal
Pa. official in charge of counting vote hates Trump . . . Not just opposes. Hates. Mocks. But I’m sure she will be counting the vote in a fair, clinical fashion. According to the Washington Examiner. The woman in charge of overseeing Pennsylvania’s ballot-counting process has repeatedly attacked President Trump, even tweeting that addressing him by his title “demeans” the office to which people elected him. White House Dossier
Critical Trump evangelical support fell . . . Trump thumped his Democratic rival with 76% to 78% of white, born-again Christians casting ballots for the president this year. But this strong lean would mark a slight decline from the totals in 2016, when an estimated 81% of these voters threw support to Mr. Trump and proved critical to his upset win. Washington Times
Armed man arrested in alleged plot to attack Philly vote count center . . . An armed man was arrested Thursday night outside the Pennsylvania Convention Center hosting a vote count after police received word of an alleged plot to attack the location, a new report said. The bust came after police were tipped off about a group of people from Virginia driving to the convention center in a Hummer with a possible plan to strike. At about 10:50 p.m. a
man inside a Vietnamese restaurant across the center was taken into custody. New York Post
Trump strategy: File legal claims everywhere . . . President Donald Trump's post-election legal strategy has been to file lawsuits everywhere his team believes there are votes to be found or blocked and where Joe Biden is inching ahead – even if their push in one state contradicts what they are seeking in another. The strategy gives Trump's lawyers multiple avenue for challenges, with vote out in several battleground
states that could ultimately hand Joe Biden the presidency – although Democratic officials say it is designed to drive a 'false narrative' to undermine the results. Daily Mail
Don Jr. calls for "total war" . . . Donald Trump Jr has called on his father to 'fight to the death' over the presidential election as he echoed his unfounded claims of voter fraud and cheating after Trump's leads in Pennsylvania and Georgia slipped further. The president's eldest son made the comments on Thursday as he spoke at a news conference at the Georgia Republican Party Headquarters in Atlanta.
'I think the number one thing Donald Trump can do in this election is fight each and every one of these battles to the death so that we get full transparency in the process,' Don Jr said. Daily Mail
Democrats' "family meeting" descends into turmoil . . . .Moderate House Democrats lashed out at their liberal colleagues Thursday, using a marathon caucus-wide conference call to bash progressives for advancing an agenda that, the centrists said, cost the party a number of seats in Tuesday’s elections. An impassioned Rep. Abigail Spanberger, who squeaked to victory in central Virginia, took liberals to task for promoting the policy of
redirecting funds away from police departments, an idea that Republicans used on the campaign trail to hammer Democrats with charges of nurturing crime. Spanberger called the Democrats’ campaign strategy “a failure.” “I do disagree, Abigail, that it was a failure,” Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) interjected. “We won the House.” The Hill
Nevada GOP claims thousand of instance of voter fraud . . . Lawyers for the Nevada Republican Party sent a criminal referral to Attorney General William Barr on Thursday, claiming they have received reports of at least 3,062 instances of voter fraud in the battleground state. "We expect that number to grow substantially," the party tweeted. "Thousands of individuals have been identified who appear to have violated the
law by casting ballots after they moved from NV." Fox News
Facebook removes 365K-member pro-Trump "Stop the Steal" group . . . Facebook announced Thursday it has taken down a rapidly growing pro-Trump group called 'Stop the Steal' because members were calling for violence. The group racked up more than 365,000 members in a
single day in response to Tuesday's election with Trump supporters attempting to sow doubt over the legitimacy of the presidential election and calling for protests. The group, created Wednesday, called for 'boots on the ground to protect the integrity of the vote' and members said 'Democrats are scheming to disenfranchise and nullify Republican votes'. Daily Mail
Are they honestly removing liberal groups where some members advocate violence? Are they?
Mulvaney: If Trump loses, he will run in 2024 . . . Former acting White House chief of staff Mick Mulvaney has said he 'absolutely' expects President Trump to run again in 2024 should he lose his current reelection bid. 'After this election's over who is the leading Republican candidate for 2024?' Mulvaney said. 'I think now, folks are starting to realize, wait a second, if Donald Trump loses he might be the
guy, and I'm telling you, absolutely.' Daily Mail
Biden lead in Nevada grows to more than 11,000 . . . Joe Biden is now leading in Nevada by more than 11,000 votes as of Thursday night as President Donald Trump's campaign filed a federal lawsuit in the state, alleging that ineligible votes were cast in the Las Vegas area. About 75 per cent of the Nevada votes are in and Biden is leading by 11,438 votes, which is only about 1 per cent, as of Thursday night.
But there are outstanding about 50,000 ballots left to be counted in the coming days. Daily Mail
Fight for Senate comes down to Georgia . . . Control of the Senate is boiling down to Georgia, likely dragging the fight for the majority out until early January. Democrats are pinning their hopes on being able to force a 50-50 Senate on a narrow, uphill path that requires them to win both seats in the typically red state. If Democratic nominee Joe Biden wins the White House, a 50-50 margin would hand them the majority
because Vice President Kamala Harris could break a tie. The Hill
Trump enjoys best showing with Hispanics for GOP nominee since 2004 . . . No Republican nominee has done as well with Hispanic voters in 16 years as did President Trump in his contest with Democratic nominee Joe Biden. According to exit polls from the Associated Press, Trump received 35% of the Hispanic vote. That amounted to 7 percentage points better than his abysmal showing with
Hispanics four years ago and just 5 points behind the 40% George W. Bush garnered in 2004. Trump’s improvement with Hispanic voters, a historically solid showing, helped him run competitively with Biden in key battleground states. Washington Examiner
Lindsey Graham donates $500,000 to Trump legal fund . . . Sen. Lindsey Graham said he donated $500,000 to the president's election defense fund, which was launched following the highly contested outcome of elections in Pennsylvania, Arizona, Georgia, Nevada, and Michigan. "I'm gonna donate $500,000 tonight to President Trump's defense legal fund," Graham told Fox News host Sean Hannity on Thursday night. "Give to donaldjtrumpdotcom so
that we'll have the resources to fight." Washington Examiner

DOJ approves use of armed agents to investigate voter fraud . . . The Justice Department has approved the use of armed agents to investigate potential voter fraud at ballot-counting centers, skirting the long-standing ban on the use of armed federal officers at polling stations. Justice Department officials told United States attorneys nationwide in a memo that the prohibition only applies to Election Day, not
the days after. The statute “does not prevent armed federal law enforcement persons from responding to, investigate or even prevent federal crimes at closed polling places or other locations where votes are being counted,” Richard P. Donoghue wrote in an email sent around 1:30 a.m. Wednesday. Washington

Rouhani, in remarks Thursday about the contested American presidential election, said that no matter who comes out ahead when the votes are counted in several close states, the new U.S. president will have "no choice but to surrender to the law, regulations, and
pressure of public opinions and to the patience and resistance of this great nation." Washington Free Beacon

Kremlin denies Putin planning to quit . . . The Kremlin has denied Vladimir Putin is planning to quit as Russian President amid claims he is suffering from ill health and may step down as early as January. The 68-year-old strongman's future has been the subject of increasing speculation after prominent critic Professor Valery Solovei suggested the leader had Parkinson's and that his family - and lover Alina Kabaeva -
had urged him to retire in the new year. But on Friday morning, Kremlin spokesman and deputy chief of staff Dmitry Peskov insisted Putin was in 'excellent health' and dismissed the Parkinson's claims as 'complete nonsense'. Daily Mail

Gold headed for the biggest weekly gain since July and copper rose as Joe Biden tightened his grip on the race for the White House, while investors also weighed prospects for further Federal Reserve stimulus. Bullion broke out of a narrow trading range seen over the past month as uncertainty over the election and renewed stimulus hopes boosted demand for the haven.

Twitter bans Steve Bannon for calling to put Fauci's head on a pike . . . Twitter banned an account affiliated with Steve Bannon after he said he would like to see Dr. Anthony Fauci and FBI Director Christopher Wray beheaded. President Trump should fire Wray and Fauci, the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, Bannon said, adding that he most desired a return to the "old times of Tudor England"
and to put their "heads on pikes" as a "warning to federal bureaucrats." “The @WarRoomPandemic account has been permanently suspended for violating the Twitter Rules, specifically our policy on the glorification of violence,” a Twitter spokesman told NBC News in a statement. Washington
Examiner
Well, he didn't explicitly call for Fauci to be beheaded. You know, he might mean that if you happen to find his head lying around, put it on a pike! Do people actually believe he was calling for violence with a facetious remark? It's banning these kind of comments that threatens freedom of speech.

Scientists have discovered new details about a hellish lava planet light-years away from Earth that is unbearably hot, rains rocks and has lava oceans more than 60 miles deep. K2-141b also has supersonic winds speeds in excess of 3,000 mph. The exoplanet, meaning it is outside our solar system, hosts one of the most “extreme” environments discovered, according to a study.
