LEADING THE NEWS:
Did Jake Sullivan commit perjury? Emails reveal ‘lie’ on Trump . . . Jake Sullivan, national security adviser in the Biden administration, may be guilty of perjury related to the Hillary Clinton campaign’s dirty tricks against Donald Trump. Last week, Michael A. Sussmann, a partner at Perkins Coie, a law firm representing the Hillary campaign and the Democratic National Committee, was indicted by a federal grand jury on charges of making false statements to the
FBI about his clients and their motives behind planting the rumor, at the highest levels of the FBI, of a secret Trump-Russia server. The indictment states that Sussmann, as well as the cyber experts recruited for the operation, “coordinated with representatives and agents of the Clinton campaign with regard to the data and written materials that Sussmann gave to the FBI and the media.”
One of those campaign agents was Sullivan, according to e-mails special counsel John Durham obtained. On Sept. 15, 2016 — just four days before Sussmann handed off the materials to the FBI — Marc Elias, Sussmann’s law partner and fellow Democratic Party operative, “exchanged emails with the Clinton campaign’s foreign policy adviser concerning the Russian bank allegations,” as well as with other top campaign officials, the indictment states. Sources close to the case confirmed the
“foreign policy adviser” referenced by title is Sullivan. New York Post
Thank goodness that we still have some free press in America, like the NYP and a few other outlets, and some public servants with integrity like John Durham.
Democrats worry negative images are defining White House . . . Democrats are worried that Joe Biden’s presidency is at an inflection point where his administration risks being defined by a series of negative and disturbing images from Afghanistan and the border.
A picture is worth a thousand words, and the Biden White House wants its image to be one of professionals restoring order, empathy and compassion after what Democrats say was the chaos, dysfunction and cold-heartedness of the Trump years. Things have started to come off the rails for President Biden. Video and photos from Afghanistan last month depicted agonizing scenes of people climbing on to military aircrafts to escape. One video, which went viral on Twitter, appeared to show
people falling to their death from the undercarriage of a plane. The Hill
Trump still the ‘kingmaker’ in Republican Party . . . Opinion.
The press continues to suggest that former President Donald Trump is a Republican “kingmaker’ — able to up the power and appeal of a political candidate with a nod and a recommendation.
“Donald Trump is now the Republican Party’s kingmaker,” proclaimed the Spectator, way back on Nov. 23, just weeks after Mr. Trump lost the presidential election. “Trump the kingmaker — but at what cost to the GOP?” asked the Chicago Tribune on Jan. 26. “Trump is mapping out his role as Republican kingmaker,” wrote Vanity Fair on Feb. 21. “Trump’s kingmaker status faces test in Ohio,” said the Associated Press on Aug. 2. “Donald Trump, the kingmaker,” proclaimed the Wall Street Journal
on Aug. 12. Washington Times
Jan. 6 panel subpoenas four ex-Trump aides Bannon, Meadows . . . The special committee investigating the Jan. 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol on Thursday sent subpoenas to four former advisers to former President Trump, including chief of staff Mark Meadows and strategist Steve Bannon. The letters were also sent to Dan Scavino, Trump’s deputy chief of staff for communications, and Kashyap Patel, the chief of staff to then-acting Secretary of
Defense Chrishoper Miller and a former House and White House staffer. All four have all been asked to appear for a deposition in mid-October. The committee letters suggest that the four top Trump aides were involved in the effort to overturn the 2020 election and activities related to Jan. 6.
“You have been identified as present at the Willard Hotel on Jan. 5, 2021 during an effort to persuade members of Congress to block the certification of the Election the next day, and in relation to other activities on Jan. 6,” the committee wrote in the letter to Bannon. The Hill
Grassley announces reelection bid . . . Iowa GOP Sen. Chuck Grassley on Friday announced that he's running for reelection in 2022, seeking an eighth term in the upper chamber. Grassley made the announcement on Twitter at 4 a.m., with a gif of him going out for a morning run. "It’s 4 a.m. in Iowa so I’m running. I do that 6 days a week. Before I start the day I want you to know what Barbara and I have decided," Grassley tweeted. "I’m
running for re-election—a lot more to do, for Iowa. We ask and will work for your support. Will you join us?" It’s 4 a.m. in Iowa so I’m running. I do that 6 days a week. Before I start the day I want you to know what Barbara and I have decided. The Hill
US envoy to Haiti resigns over ‘inhumane’ deportation of Haitians . . . Incredible to see the Biden administration being attacked so harshly from the Left. It will be very damaging to the White House and to Democrats in both 2022 and 2024 if the administration fails to stir enthusiasm among lefties. Harshly criticizing what he called the United States’ “inhumane” treatment of Haitian migrants and its policy toward Haiti, Daniel Foote, the U.S.
diplomat whose reputation for working in some of the world’s most challenging environments made him a top pick by the Biden administration to serve as special envoy to Haiti, has resigned, the U.S. State Department confirmed Thursday.
White House Dossier
It is particularly problematic for President Biden that Black leaders are in the front row offering criticism on the Haitian refugees, because it was the Black voter turnout that helped elect him.

Afghan Refugees in US Indicted on Assault Charges . . . Two Afghan refugees have been indicted on assault charges stemming from incidents at a military base in Wisconsin that houses thousands of recently evacuated Afghan nationals.
A federal grand jury indicted Bahrullah Noori, 20, on charges that he tried to molest two underage boys. The grand jury issued a separate indictment against Mohammad Haroom Imaad, 32, on charges that he strangled and suffocated his wife. Noori and Imaad were among 12,500 refugees airlifted from Afghanistan to Fort McCoy during the U.S. military withdrawal last month.
The cases are likely to stoke concerns about the government's vetting process for the 100,000 refugees brought to the United States during the airlift. Washington Free Beacon
Obviously not all the Afghans are terrible people, many are wonderful human beings. But there's something atrocious about the culture, which brutalizes boys. My DIA colleagues who served in Afghanistan told horrific stories about the Afghan men, our "allies" with whom they had to deal. Those men abused boys (routinely sodomized and the whole thing), which is customary in that culture. When our US military and intel colleagues made a report to US military leadership, General
Petraeus, who himself could couldn't keep his pants zipped with his "biographer") classified the report top secret. It is very typical for the government apparatchiks to classify their incompetence or abuses of power as "top secret." They did this with my book during the mandatory review process.
I am starting a podcast on September 30th, Censored But Not Silenced, where I will be inviting guests who will speak about issues like this and expose things that the MSM doesn't want to talk about.
Dems Plan To Scuttle Space Force . . . House Democrats on Wednesday introduced a measure in the 2022 defense budget to eliminate the Space Force. Rep. Jared Huffman (D., Calif.) led a resolution, cosigned by fellow Democratic representatives Rashida Tlaib (Mich.), Maxine Waters (Calif.), Mark Pocan (Wis.), and Jésus García (Calif.), to "abolish" America's newest military branch. The measure received support from the Koch-funded National
Taxpayers Union and radical anti-war groups such as Peace Action and Demand Progress. "Since its creation under the former Trump administration, the Space Force has threatened longstanding peace and flagrantly wasted billions of taxpayer dollars," said Huffman. "It's time we turn our attention back to where it belongs: addressing urgent domestic and international priorities like battling COVID-19, climate change, and growing economic inequality. Our mission must be to support the American
people, not spend billions on the militarization of space." Washington Free Beacon
Dumbest move. This will erode America's security. Both China and Russia are preparing to wage space warfare agains its "primary adversary," the United States.
Effort to spread discredited Russia collusion theory welcomed by McCain Senate panel, memos show . . . The efforts to disseminate a now-discredited theory that the Trump campaign had secret computer communications with the Kremlin extended beyond the FBI, CIA, and State Department to the U.S. Senate. Under the late Sen. John McCain, the Armed Services Committee engaged a former FBI official and his progressive-funded nonprofit to produce
a report on the matter, according to court records obtained by Just the News. The Senate committee, now under Democrats' control, successfully waged a secret federal court battle this summer to quash a subpoena that would have forced one of its staffers, Thomas Kirk McConnell, to turn over documents and testify about his dealings with former FBI analyst Dan Jones and his nonprofit, The Democracy Integrity Project, the records show. Just the News
Pharmaceuticals Creates National Security Risk . . . The Defense Department's reliance on Chinese supply chains for pharmaceuticals poses a severe national security risk, a Pentagon inspector general's report warns. The U.S. military's ability to treat soldiers and personnel worldwide relies on products made and shipped in foreign countries. The Pentagon does not produce its own pharmaceuticals, so it relies on the American commercial
sector to procure vital medicines for the armed forces. As the commercial sector increases its reliance on foreign countries the department follows suit, the report, which was released Wednesday, found. "Pharmaceutical supply disruptions could compromise the standard of care to [Defense Department] beneficiaries," the report concludes. "A disruption of the supply of foreign-made [active pharmaceutical ingredients] to domestic manufacturers could cause a drug shortage that affects every
level of the U.S. health care system." Washington Free Beacon
Well how about the risk of the Chinese messing with the pharmaceuticals in terms of altering them to make the harmful?

Lithuania Tells Users To Ditch Chinese Phones Over Censorship Fears . . . Lithuania has warned its citizens that a popular phone manufactured in China contains built-in censorship technology. According to Lithuania’s National Cyber Security Centre, phones from Xiaomi Corporation contain tools that can censor phrases the Chinese government finds offensive, including "Free Tibet," "Long live Taiwan independence," and
"democracy movement." The center also reported that the phones sent encrypted user data to a server in Singapore. Washington Free Beacon
No brainer.
Remember how US gov. "experts" had Russian-made "anti-virus" software, developed by a "former" KGB officer Eugene Kaspersky installed in the Pentagon's computers and throughout the entire US government? Until the Orange Man, "Putin's Agent," who was "soft on Russia," ordered the apparatchiks to get rid of the KGB "anti-virus" software. I wonder which agencies are still running it. Can't make this up, right?

CDC endorses COVID-19 booster for millions of older Americans . . . The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention on Thursday endorsed booster shots for millions of older or otherwise vulnerable Americans, opening a major new phase in the U.S vaccination drive against COVID-19. CDC Director Dr. Rochelle Walensky signed off on a series of recommendations from a panel of advisers late Thursday. The advisers said boosters should be
offered to people 65 and older, nursing home residents and those ages 50 to 64 who have risky underlying health problems. The extra dose would be given once they are at least six months past their last Pfizer shot. Washington Times
The vaxx thing has become a big business issue. I think this time, I will risk acquiring natural immunity. I had such an awful time the first time around, both shots. In addition to horrible stomach and other issues (dizziness and disorientation), I had a 'blue finger' reaction. Both times, within minutes of getting a shot, one of my fingers turned blue and stayed blue for 3-4 days. After the second shot, I realized it was related to the vaxx and went to the doctor. She said
because the finger was not cold, it was not a blood clot and wasn't too worried. But she did confirm that some folks have odd reactions. This is why I wasn't terribly surprised when I heard about the reaction that a friend of Nicki Minaj's cousin had with his private organs.
CDC alerts medical professionals about potential infectious diseases spread by Afghan evacuees . . . The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) is recommending that medical professionals and clinicians be on alert for infectious diseases among Afghan nationals recently brought into the country, including measles, mumps and rubella, diseases for which Americans have already been vaccinated. After the CDC announcement,
Pentagon Press Secretary John F. Kirby said Afghan evacuees were required to get the MMR vaccine and then be quarantined for 21 days. “All arriving Afghans are currently required to be vaccinated for measles as a condition of their humanitarian parole. And critical immunizations like MMR are being administered for Afghans at safe havens on military bases in the United States,” Kirby said. MMR vaccines would also be administered overseas as well, he said. Just the News
Just to be clear, I am not anti-refugee, I am an immigrant myself. But it must be done responsibly. One of my friend's teenage daughter set up a charity org to help Afghan refugees who have arrived in this area, with donations of funds and all the necessities to help them get settled here. I will get the info and post it in the Weekend section for those who want to help.

Biden may owe $500,000 in back taxes . . .
Let’s see if the MSM follows up on this. It’s not Donald Trump, so it’s not as fun for them. President Biden may have improperly avoided paying Medicare taxes before he took office and could owe the IRS up to $500,000, according to a Congressional Research Service report. “Joe Biden wants to raise taxes by $2.1 trillion while claiming the rich need to pay their ‘fair share.’ But in 2017, multi-millionaire Joe Biden skirted his payroll taxes — the very taxes that fund Medicare and
Obamacare,” said Rep. Jim Banks, who chairs the conservative Republican Study Committee. Banks said the report indicated that Biden improperly used “S corporations” while he and First Lady Jill Biden raked in over $13 million on speaking fees and book sales in 2017 and 2018, but counted less than $800,000 of it as a salary that could be taxed for Medicare. Target to hire 100K workers, provide more hours to current employees for holiday season . . . Target slimmed down on its holiday hiring this season in order to invest in its current team members who have shown "incredible resilience and flexibility" while working through the pandemic. This year, the Minneapolis-based retailer is looking to fill 100,000 seasonal positions across the country, down from the 130,000 positions that had been
available in years past. Instead, the company said it's providing 5 million more hours for its existing team members, which will equate to more than $75 million in additional pay, according to Target. On average, the company's hourly team members are already working nearly 15% more hours compared to a year ago.
The company is also investing even more in its flexible scheduling options and training for its current team. Fox News Business

In Brief: Far More Defensive Gun Uses Than Murders . . . Americans who value the Second Amendment know that it’s ultimately about Liberty. But much of the debate often ends up being about crime. Truth be told, the gun grabbers don’t fare any better on that front. John Lott, president of the Crime Prevention Research Center, has researched and written extensively about this over the years, and he’s out with some new
numbers about defensive gun use. While Americans know that guns take many innocent lives every year, many don’t know that firearms also save them. On May 15, an attacker at an apartment complex in Fort Smith, Ark., fatally shot a woman and then fired 93 rounds at other people before a man killed him with a bolt-action rifle. Police said he “likely saved a number of lives in the process.” See other examples here. Patriot Post
For those in the DC/VA/MD metropolitan area, I will be organizing a firearms training at with my friend John Murphy who has an awesome outdoor range in Culpepper VA. Sometime in October. If you are interested please send me an email. Here's John's website: https://www.fpftraining.com. He is an amazing trainer and a fun fellow.
The Talking Heads Are Mad That People Ignore The Missing Persons Cases They Don’t Cover . . . A number of pundits and media personalities complained about Gabby Petito’s case and the fact that it quickly consumed so much of the nationwide news cycle. They weren’t angry that the nation was glued to the coverage of Petito’s disappearance — followed by her alleged murder and the disappearance of he fiancé, Brian Laundrie. What concerned
them, they said, was the disparity in the way similar cases involving people of color were covered. The Daily Beast reported that between 2011 and 2020, in the area where Petito disappeared alone, some 710 indigenous people had gone missing — most of them girls — but none had gotten the kind of media attention that Petito did.
