‘Get It Done’: Trump’s WH Doctor Calls For Biden To Undergo Cognitive Test . . . Republican Texas Rep. Ronny Jackson, who is also a former White House physician, called for President Joe Biden to undergo a cognitive test Saturday. “The far left and the mainstream media were demanding that be the new standard for anybody who’s going to lead our country and be our commander-in-chief and our head of state,” Jackson said. “I’m just
saying I agree with them at this point — we need to get it done,” Trump’s former White House physician added. Daily Caller
‘Only White Men’: Maxine Waters Goes On Anti-America Rant On July Fourth . . . Democratic California Rep. Maxine Waters went on an anti-America Twitter rant Sunday. In one tweet, Waters attacked the Declaration of Independence and questioned its words and meaning. “July 4th … & so, the Declaration of Independence says all men are created equal,” Waters tweeted. “Equal to what? What men? Only white men? Isn’t it something that
they wrote this in 1776 when African Americans were enslaved? They weren’t thinking about us then, but we’re thinking about us now!” Daily Caller
She needs a cognitive test too.
Bipartisan spending deal meets fresh resistance from key Democrats . . . The bipartisan infrastructure deal endorsed by President Biden is facing fresh skepticism from key Senate Democrats who are concerned about plans to pay for the $973 billion package. Two major financing mechanisms for the spending proposal — repurposing unspent funds for unemployment benefits and state assistance — are meeting resistance from a group of Democratic
senators who say higher corporate tax rates should be the primary revenue source. The Hill
Biden gun and police policies threaten Democrats' 2022 midterm prospects . . . With violent crime on the rise in cities across the country, President Biden is attempting another high-wire act with a renewed push for gun control measures that could embolden his critics on both the right and dismay and divide his own party ahead of the critical 2022 midterm elections. Biden’s focus on gun crimes could provide fodder for Second Amendment
advocates who have accused him of attacking legal gun ownership and for Republican lawmakers who have argued Democratic calls to "defund the police" are most responsible for the crime wave. GOP strategists employed that tactic to great effect in down-ballot races during the 2020 election cycle. Fox News
Top Biden Allies Worked for Group With Close Ties to Chinese Communist Party . . . Top Biden allies including former Treasury secretary Jacob Lew and National Security Council official Kurt Campbell have done work for a nonprofit funded by companies like Facebook and Disney that is known for working closely with Chinese officials and Communist Party front groups. Campbell, whom President Joe Biden tapped to run Asia policy at the National
Security Council, was a director at the National Committee on U.S.-China Relations through May 2020. Lew, who served as Treasury secretary during the Obama-Biden administration, took over in January as chairman of the National Committee, which bills itself as an educational nonprofit that seeks open dialogue between Beijing and Washington. Lew, an early endorser of Biden's presidential campaign, reportedly met with Biden's team in 2020 to discuss economic policy. Washington Free Beacon
Trump Says One Of His Greatest Accomplishments Was Exposing The ‘Fake News Media’ . . . Former President Donald Trump spoke at a rally in Sarasota, Florida, Saturday where he said one of his greatest accomplishments was exposing the “fake news media.” “I think one of my greatest achievements is explaining to people that the media in this country is corrupt,” Trump said. Massive Russia-linked Ransomware Attack Strikes Thousands of Victims . . . Just weeks after President Joe Biden implored Vladimir Putin to curb cyber crime, a notorious, Russia-linked ransomware gang has been accused of pulling off an audacious attack on the global software supply chain. REvil, the group blamed for the May 30 ransomware attack of meatpacking giant JBS SA, is believed to be behind hacks on at least 20
managed-service providers, which provide IT services to small- and medium-sized businesses. More than 1,000 businesses have already been impacted, a figure that’s expected to grow, according to the cybersecurity firm Huntress Labs Inc. Biden said he had ordered a “deep dive” by U.S. intelligence officials on what happened in the attacks. Bloomberg
The intelligence "experts" having been "deep-diving" for over 20 years, while the Russians have been burrowing, deep and wide, into our networks. The feds even installed, on U.S. government systems, a "anti-virus" software developed by Gene Kaspersky, a "former" KGB officer. Can't make this stuff up. There should be a penalty for those serving in USG for acting "dumb."
Biden: ‘We will respond’ if Russia is at fault for massive holiday cyberattack . . . President Biden warned Russian President Vladimir Putin that the US “will respond” if the Motherland was behind Friday’s mass cyberattack that hit at least 200 companies at the start of the Independence Day weekend.
“We’re not sure who it is,” Biden told reporters Saturday as he bought three fruit pies and a bag of cherry sodas at King Orchards, a family-owned cherry farm in Central Lake, Mich. — while pulling a page of notes from his jacket pocket to help him answer the question. “The initial thinking was it was not the Russian government,” Biden said. New York Post
I am beginning to wonder, what does Putin have on Biden? Joe keeps saying that the Russian government is not involved. Didn't anyone inform him that using criminal groups to achieve the state's objectives is standard Russian cyber intelligence tradecraft?

Taliban Fighters Advance After U.S. Closes Main Afghan Base . . . Taliban fighters have moved to take control of dozens of new districts in Afghanistan in recent days, after the U.S. last week closed its operations at Bagram Air Field, the centerpiece of the American military presence for nearly 20 years.
The transfer of the air base to the Afghan army added momentum to a Taliban drive which has retaken districts in the country’s north, east and south, according to officials and local news reports. U.S. officials have said Taliban fighters have taken more than 100 districts, although more than 15 districts appear to have fallen to Taliban control in the past two days, according to ToloNews. Afghanistan consists of more than 400 local government districts, which are comparable to
counties in the U.S., and district centers. Local Afghan forces have fled amid Taliban advances in some districts, while fighting has ensued in others. Wall Street Journal

Major funder of Wuhan lab refuses House request for docs as Dems fail to subpoena . . . A major conduit of federal research funding to the Chinese coronavirus lab at the center of ongoing speculation over the origins of the SARS-Cov-2 virus is not complying with a months-old request from House Republicans for documentation related to his work with that lab, while Democrats in the House have failed to issue a subpoena to compel that
evidence. Peter Daszak, the president of the U.S. nonprofit EcoHealth Alliance, has been the subject of growing scrutiny regarding his role in the funding of the Wuhan Institute of Virology. For several years leading up to the pandemic, EcoHealth Alliance funneled hundreds of thousands of dollars in federal research grants to the WIV for the study of potential pandemic coronaviruses at the Wuhan lab. Keystone XL Pipeline Developer Seeks $15 Billion in Damages From US . . . Energy company TC Energy has said it is seeking $15 billion in damages from the United States government over President Joe Biden’s decision to cancel the Keystone XL pipeline project. In a statement on Friday, the Canada-based company said it had filed a notice of intent with the State Department to begin a legacy North American Free Trade
Agreement (NAFTA) claim under the United States-Mexico-Canada agreement. The company said it aims to “recover economic damages resulting from the revocation of the Keystone XL Project’s Presidential Permit,” adding that it suffered a loss of more than $15 billion “as a result of the U.S. Government’s breach of its NAFTA obligations.” Epoch Times

‘Orwellian’: Facebook faces backlash for ‘harmful extremist content’ alerts . . . Facebook’s newly launched warnings about “extremist content” have triggered a backlash from those who worry that the alerts represent a social-media crackdown on politically disfavored speech. Facebook’s pop-up campaign, rolled out Thursday, includes messages telling some users that “you have been exposed to harmful extremist content recently” and asking if
they are “concerned that someone you know is becoming an extremist,” in both cases linking to a “Get Support” page. “Violent groups try to manipulate your anger and disappointment. You can take action now to protect yourself and others,” says the notification. Washington Times
LEGO Embraces Drag Queen Marketing . . . The LEGO Group recently released the "Everyone is Awesome" set, a display model inspired by the "Progressive Pride" flag. The set features LEGO monochrome minifigures assembled on a LEGO flag. According to the set's designer, none of the figures in the set is explicitly gendered except for a purple-clad drag queen figurine. The set is the first produced by the corporation explicitly promoting the
LGBT movement, although the LEGO Trafalgar Square set included a Pride flag, and LEGO has sold bride and groom "BrickHeadz" figures separately to avoid heteronormativity. Mary Rice Hasson, a scholar at the Ethics and Public Policy Center, told the Washington Free Beacon that the shift toward promoting liberal social values to children is the result of decades of campaigning by special interests. Washington Free Beacon.
American parents might as well start making toys for their kids by hand. Growing up in the socialist USSR, where everything was free and nothing available, we didn't have toys sold in stores in our area. Our grandma made dolls out of cloth for me and my sister and taught us how to do it too. Eventually, our Mom got us two real toys from Moscow: a walking doll for me and a teddy bear for my sister. I can still picture those two toys because they were pretty much the
only ones we owned throughout our childhood, that were not hand-made.

Ukrainian army under fire for making female soldiers march in high heels . . . Several women in the government and elsewhere protested after pictures emerged showing female soldiers wearing high heels during a rehearsal for a military parade celebrating Ukraine’s independence. The high heels are a required part of the dress uniform for Ukrainian female soldiers but are not typically used with the standard military fatigues that the
soldiers will be marching in. The military did not offer an explanation as to why women were made to march in different footwear than their male comrades. One lawmaker accused the military high command of having a “medievalist” mindset. In the midst of its war against Russian-backed separatists in the Donbass region, Ukraine has made an effort to integrate women into its armed forces. Washington Examiner
What's the fuss about? Women in that part of the world wear heels on ice in winter.
