‘Misery for Everybody’ If USA Chooses Socialism, Cuban Immigrants Warn Americans . . . With efforts by prominent Democrats—who control the United States House, Senate, and White House—to steer the United States towards socialism, many of those who immigrated to the US to escape socialist and communist countries are raising their voices in warning of the socialist lie that will only bring “equal misery for everybody.”
An immigrant from Cuba, Maximo Alvarez, Director at Florida State University, cautioned Americans “The media is not telling you the truth. Your teachers, your professors, they are not telling you the truth.” Confiscatory, socialist policies that democrats are advocating have led to such devastation in countries like Cuba and Venezuela and wherever else they have been tried.
"There’s nothing like freedom. There’s nothing like the capacity to reach your potential. If we work hard, we will always succeed," continued Alvarez. “And the reason why I get emotional, the reason why I literally cry, is because I am afraid that my grandkids may not have the same the luck I had because, all of the sudden, the American people are believing the same misinformation, the same lies, the same promises that the communist people—the same totalitarian people who want equal
misery for everybody—sell to their people,” he warned. Epoch Times
As an immigrant from the totalitarian socialist Soviet Union, this is exactly how I feel. I fear for my kids' future. It is maddening to see so many intelligent Americans are accepting of the delusional idea of a socialism. Please do not be gullible, do not believe the lying politicians. Socialism produces nothing but poverty and shortages for everyone, except the ruling class. They will have everything because they don't live by the same rules they create for everyone
else.
We see this today: the government apparatchiks placed everyone on lockdowns while they went for haircuts and on luxury vacations; they eat in super-expensive restaurants and buy $25 ice cream, while driving small businesses into the ground by raising minimum wage; they have personal security detail, while disarming ordinary people. They have better healthcare than doctors themselves. All the nomenklatura want is to make everyone
dependent on the government, so they can remain in power and control every aspect of our lives. Socialism has been tried and failed. Every. Single. Time.
Sorry for the rant. Like Mr. Alvarez, I also want to cry, watching the slow demise of a beautiful free country, the best in the world.
Team Biden’s Rigid Control of the Press . . . Everyone knew instinctively that the Biden White House would get enormous cooperation and positive media coverage from the “news” media. But Team Biden’s control of the narrative can look more like a stranglehold. The Biden White House frequently demands that interviews with administration officials be conducted on the grounds of “background with quote approval.” This
means that reporters submit their quotations of administration officials and the White House approves them. “The practice allows the White House an extra measure of control as it tries to craft press coverage,” Politico says. “Craft” is a more delicate word for “manipulate. Daily Signal
Election integrity revelation: Detroit bragged that use of Zuckerberg funding ‘created a new normal’ . . . In Detroit's report on the $7.4 million in grants it received from the Center for Tech and Civil Life (CTCL), a voter advocacy organization funded by Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg, the city said that a new normal had been created with how the election was run in 2020. "We created a new expectation for the public, because we
significantly increased the number of ways [a] voter can vote," reported the city's Department of Elections in the CTCL grant report, obtained by Just the News through a Freedom of Information Act request. "The funding structure established must be preserved for future elections." Just the

Trump: comparisons of Biden to Jimmy Carter are unfair — to Carter . . . “I see that everybody is comparing Joe Biden to Jimmy Carter,” Trump said. “It would seem to me that is very unfair to Jimmy Carter. Jimmy mishandled crisis after crisis, but Biden has CREATED crisis after crisis. First there was the Biden Border Crisis (that he refuses to call a Crisis), then the Biden Economic Crisis, then the Biden Israel Crisis, and now the Biden Gas
Crisis. Joe Biden has had the worst start of any president in United States history, and someday, they will compare future disasters to the Biden Administration!” White House Dossier
A Dangerous Pick at Justice . . . The Biden Administration is elevating a key figure in the campaign to delegitimize Donald Trump’s election in 2016. Susan Hennessey of the Brookings Institution is joining the Justice Department’s national security division, where Politico reports she will be senior counsel, the post that doesn’t require Senate confirmation. Ms. Hennessey made her name as a commentator by hyping Russian
collusion allegations. A former National Security Agency lawyer, she bestowed phony credibility on the Steele dossier after the 2016 election. Ms. Hennessey has an undisguised partisan interest in the Russia probe, which is still being investigated by U.S. Attorney John Durham. After the 2020 election, Ms. Hennessey tweeted that Mr. Durham’s work was “partisan silliness.” Wall Street Journal
Brookings is the think tank that employed a Russian-Ukrainian "researcher" who fed Russian disinformation into the anti-Trump Steele Dossier.
Cheney on Trump: 'I will do everything I can' to keep him away from the White House . . . Rep. Liz Cheney (Wyo.) vowed following House Republicans' Wednesday vote to remove her as GOP conference chairwoman to do everything she can to keep former President Trump from returning to power. Sources inside a closed-door session Wednesday morning said lawmakers voted overwhelmingly to oust Cheney. In remarks to reporters immediately
following the vote, Cheney doubled down on her vow to continue countering Trump's message, saying, “We must go forward based on truth.” The Hill
What a nice lady.
Stefanik confident of a GOP leadership win: 'We have great support' . . . Rep. Elise Stefanik predicted Wednesday that she has the votes to become the next House Republican Conference chair after fellow GOP member ousted Rep. Liz Cheney on Wednesday. Ms. Stefanik told reporters she has the support of a broad range of House Republicans from moderates to conservative members of the Freedom Caucus. “Absolutely,” Ms. Stefanik said when
asked if she has the support of the majority of the caucus. New Yorker has moderate voting record, but conservative would-be challengers are wary of crossing former President Trump. Washington Times
Anti-Trump Republicans to call for a third party . . . Over 100 former Republican officials will sign a letter on Thursday declaring that if the Republican Party does not break with former President Donald Trump and change course, they will back the creation of a third party. The letter, headlined: “A Call For American Renewal,” is an exploratory move toward forming a breakaway party, two of its organizers said. The group is dismayed by
what it says is a modern Republican Party driven by its allegiance to Trump, who continues to falsely claim the 2020 election was stolen from him. White House Dossier
More than 75 Asian, LGBTQ groups oppose anti-Asian crime bill . . . More than 75 Asian and LGBTQ groups are opposing an anti-Asian crime bill that recently passed through the Senate.
In a statement posted to the blog “Reappropriate,” the groups said they opposed the COVID-19 Hate Crimes Act because it “relies on anti-Black, law enforcement responses to the recent rise in anti-Asian bias incidents across the US.” "The bolstering of law enforcement and criminalization does not keep us safe and in fact harms and furthers violence against Asian communities facing some of the greatest disparities and attacks," the groups wrote.
The Senate passed the bill 94-1 in late April, with GOP Sen. Josh Hawley (R-Mo.) being the only no vote. The Hill
House GOP Introduce Legislation To Fully Defund Critical Race Theory . . . A group of House Republicans will introduce two pieces of legislation Wednesday that would fully defund Critical Race Theory (CRT). Republican North Carolina Rep. Dan Bishop, will announce the news Wednesday afternoon. One bill is titled the “The Stop CRT Act” and bans all federal funding for promoting or teaching CRT. It will also implement former
President Donald Trump’s executive order that banned CRT from being promoted in the federal government. Daily Caller
Black Parent Compares Critical Race Theory to KKK Intimidation Tactics . . . A black mother slammed critical race theory at a school board meeting in the nation's richest county Tuesday, comparing the radical education standards to tactics used by Nazis and the Ku Klux Klan to demean black people. "Critical race theory is not an honest dialogue, it is a tactic that was used by Hitler and the Ku Klux Klan on slavery very many years ago to
dumb down my ancestors so we could not think for ourselves," Shawntel Cooper said at the Loudoun County School Board meeting Tuesday night. "Critical race theory is racist, it is abusive, it discriminates against one's color. … You can not tell me what is or is not racist." Washington Free Beacon

Colonial Pipeline back online amid gas shortage . . . The Colonial Pipeline has returned to operations following a cyberattack that snarled gas supply for the eastern U.S. for days, according to Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm. "Following this restart, it will take several days for the product delivery supply chain to return to normal," Colonial Pipeline said in a statement. "Some markets served by Colonial Pipeline may
experience, or continue to experience, intermittent service interruptions during the start-up period." Fox Business
On Biden's watch America under siege as cyber attackers cripple the country . . . They cut off a pipeline to the Eastern Seaboard for days, tried to poison a Florida water-treatment plant, held hospital IT systems hostage and stole an undetermined trove of information in the SolarWinds hack – all as the Biden's team searches for a way to respond. Cyberattacks are on the rise, and they’re increasingly targeting major infrastructure
installations, like transportation hubs, energy facilities and utility companies. The technology to prevent many of these attacks already exists, experts say, and hacks targeting critical infrastructure, which can threaten American lives, are akin to acts of war. Fox News
Pentagon delays report on Chinese companies with military ties . . . The Pentagon has failed to give Congress a legally required report on Chinese companies with military ties, as US president Joe Biden neared a decision on whether Americans could invest in such groups.Congress required the Department of Defense in January to produce a report by April 15. But the Pentagon told lawmakers it has missed the deadline, according to two people familiar
with the report. The delay came as the Biden administration decides whether to maintain an executive order signed by Donald Trump, the former president, that banned Americans from investing in Chinese companies named in a previous Pentagon blacklist. Financial Times
Biden Pressed to Cancel Iran Talks as Tehran-Backed Terrorists Attack Israel . . . The Biden administration is facing new pressure from Congress to immediately end its negotiations with Iran in the wake of continued missile attacks on Israel by Tehran-armed-and-funded terrorist groups. More than 40 Republican senators led by Marco Rubio (Fla.) petitioned the White House late Wednesday to "immediately end negotiations with Iran, and make
clear that sanctions relief will not be provided." "The United States must not do anything to enrich Israel's enemies, such as by offering sanctions relief to a regime that seeks to destroy Israel," says the petition. Washington Free Beacon
Dozens of sex offenders apprehended so far in fiscal year 2021 . . . San Diego Sector Border Patrol agents have arrested more than three dozen sex offenders so far during fiscal year 2021. U.S. Customs and Border Protection reported that authorities apprehended a man on Sunday and discovered via records checks that "the Mexican national had been previously convicted of Sexual Abuse in the 1st Degree by Forceable Compulsion." The
individual was a registered sex offender in the state of New York. Just the News

Politicians Still Get Caught Ignoring Their Own COVID Restrictions . . . Many lawmakers who have ordered or urged citizens not to leave their homes due to the coronavirus pandemic have not followed their own advice. The biggest offenders are predominantly Democrats such s New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo, New York City Mayor Bill DeBlasio, D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and many more. There are virtually
no examples of prominent Republicans who urged citizens to stay home due to COVID-19 and then did not follow their own advice, other than TX Sen. Ted Cruz having traveled to Cancun in February as Texans struggled without power under heavy ice storms. Daily Caller
US College Students Face Vaccine Mandate, Immune or Not . . . More than 180 college and university campuses across the US are requiring more than 2.4 million students to produce proof of vaccination against the CCP (Chinese Communist Party) virus to attend in-person classes this fall, regardless of whether the students have acquired immunity to the virus. None of the schools currently accept acquired immunity as an exemption from the
vaccination mandate, even amid evidence that prior infection results in broad and lasting protection from the virus. Epoch Times
CNN medical analyst: Biden needs to unmask himself to show the vaccine works . . . This White House is supposed to be following science, right? And the science says that once you are vaccinated, you are at extremely low risk of getting the virus, especially if you are outside or with other vaccinated people. But Biden seems to be treating his mask like it’s his Teddy Bear. He’s probably at much more risk from the steps of Air Force One
than he is from the coronavirus. White House Dossier

Israel Fighting for Its Life . . . In the past 48 hours, according to the Israel Defense Forces, more than 1,500 rockets have rained down on Israeli cities. Those rockets are being launched by Palestinian Islamic Jihad and by Hamas, which has controlled the Gaza Strip since Israel unilaterally withdrew from it and forcibly evacuated every last Jewish resident from the territory in 2005. Israelis have gotten used to
living life in a kind of perpetual war. Although this is not the first time this has happened, this time is different: There are more rockets being fired from Gaza than at any time in memory. Some are landing, killing or maiming Israeli civilians. The Iron Dome is astonishing, but it is imperfect and it is the only thing standing between civilians and shrapnel. Common Sense with Bari Weiss
This is chilling.
Erdogan tells Putin that Israel needs ‘deterrent lesson’ . . . Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has told Russian President Vladimir Putin that the international community should give Israel a "strong and deterrent lesson" for its actions against the Palestinians. The Turkish Presidential Communications Directorate said the two leaders talked by phone Wednesday about the conflict. Erdoğan emphasized the need for "the international
community to give Israel a strong and deterrent lesson" and called on the U.N. Security Council to step in with "determined and clear messages" to Israel, according to Turkish officials. Fox News
Israel rebuffs US calls for ceasefire as Blinken sends envoy to region . . . Israeli officials intend to continue pummeling Hamas's positions in Gaza, citing the importance of degrading the threat of future attacks in defiance of international calls for an end to the violence. “I don't think it's the time to talk about the calls for a ceasefire,” Israeli Foreign Affairs ministry spokesman Lior Haiat told reporters Wednesday. “There’s
nothing really to talk about.” Washington Examiner
Israelis don't have time to chat. Living in the hornet's nest in the Middle East, they've got to constantly fight for the lives over there.
The Chinese Communists Get American Aid . . . Even though the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) is responsible through its laboratory in Wuhan for the global outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Communist totalitarian dictatorship has turned this worldwide crisis into a great benefit. In the wake of the pandemic as the US rapidly distributed emergency loans as part of the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) to help struggling businesses,
CCP dictatorship saw an opportunity for American money and took it. Communist China – as the world’s dominant medical supply manufacturer – hoarded and later sold critical medical products to countries crippled by the pandemic. Gingrich360

Biden’s Hidden Tax On Everything You Purchase . . . Rising prices have led to increasing worry that rapid inflation could be just over the horizon. Americans have already witnessed higher prices in the past few months, with everything from gasoline to lumber to basic home items jumping in cost. The increases, partially fueled by non-existent interest rates and record government spending, could lead to inflation that the U.S. has not seen
in decades, experts say. “In the short term, consumers can expect to see rising prices across the board,” Henry Olsen, a senior fellow at the Ethics and Public Policy Center said. “I expect in the next few months people will be getting sticker shocked in virtually all aspects of their life." Daily Caller
Surge in China’s Factory-Gate Prices Adds to Inflation Worries . . . China’s factory-gate prices jumped by the most in 3½ years in April, driven by surging commodities prices, raising concerns that inflationary pressures could spread globally. The country’s consumer-price index, a measure of inflation that tracks prices for a basket of goods and services, rose 0.9% in April from a year earlier, reaching a seven-month high. The
producer-price index, a gauge of factory-gate prices, rose 6.8% last month, the fastest pace since October 2017, China’s National Bureau of Statistics said Tuesday. Wall Street Journal

Cheating at School Is Easier Than Ever—and It’s Rampant . . . A year of remote learning has spurred an eruption of cheating among students, from grade school to college. With many students isolated at home over the past year—and with a mass of online services at their disposal—academic dishonesty has never been so easy.Websites that allow students to submit questions for expert answers have gained millions of new users over the past year. A
newer breed of site allows students to put up their own classwork for auction. “Consider hiring me to do your assignment,” reads a bid from one auction site. “I work fast, pay close attention to the instructions, and deliver a plagiarism-free paper.” Wall Street Journal

With Birthing Person's Day Over, Here Comes Lawnmowing Person's Day . . . Now that the country has celebrated bleeding birthing people of all genders on Birthing Person's Day, families are gearing up for Lawnmowing Person's Day. "Ah, I love lawnmowing person's day," said Dale Polski, a local family lawnmowing person who identifies as male. "It's a great day to put some meat on the grill, open this year's pair of
new socks, and enjoy a nap."
Some have made a point to remind everyone that not all lawnmowing people identify as male. "Some lawnmowers are female," said Amy Brown, a lawnmowing person from next door who identifies as female. "I mow the lawn every week, so this day is for people like me too!" she said proudly. Several teens have also come forward demanding to be celebrated on Lawnmowing Person's Day, stating that they identify as lawnmowers even though they still aren't strong enough to start a push
mower.
According to sources, there are some who still celebrate something called "Father's Day," although it's unclear what that means since nothing means anything anymore. Babylon Bee
