Arrest illustrates how the Steele dossier was a political dirty trick orchestrated by Hillary Clinton . . . Analysis by Andrew McCarthy. Special counsel John Durham’s indictment of Igor Danchenko, the principal source for the bogus Steele dossier used by the FBI as a basis for the Trump-Russia investigation, further illustrates that Durham has his sights set on the Clinton campaign.
Danchenko has been charged with five counts of lying to the FBI in interviews during 2017, as the bureau struggled in futility to verify outlandish allegations that Donald Trump and his campaign were clandestine agents of the Kremlin. Those allegations were compiled in the so-called Steele dossier, which the FBI relied on in obtaining surveillance warrants from a secret federal court.
The dossier was generated by the Clinton campaign. Its principal author was former British spy Christopher Steele. Steele’s main source was Danchenko, a Russian native based in the United States who worked at the Brookings Institution — a Washington think-tank whose former president, Strobe Talbott, is a college friend of Bill Clinton’s who worked in the Clinton State Department.
At Brookings, Danchenko worked with Fiona Hill, later a member of Trump’s National Security Council (and a key witness in the first Trump impeachment over the unrelated Ukraine controversy). It was through Hill that Danchenko became acquainted with Steele, who ran a London-based intelligence firm upon leaving MI-6, the British spy service. Durham’s charging instruments suggest that the Clinton campaign used its agents to peddle the Trump-Russia rumors to the government and the
media, then used the fact Trump was being investigated as part of its campaign messaging. New York Post
RK commentary:
This was not merely a dirty political trick. This was an organized intelligence operation, ran on US soil by President Obama's corrupt intelligence nomenklatura, targeting U.S. citizens, with the goal of unseating a democratically elected U.S. President.
This intelligence operation included the submission of 4!! fraudulent applications by the FBI to the secret FISA court and a false ICA (Intelligence Community Assessment), which concluded that Russia's covert influence operation aimed to elect Trump President. The ICA was ordered by President Obama and produced by the DNI's National Intelligence Council in record time. The Deep State ran intel source, such as Stephan Halper to entrap US citizens. As part of this
op, U.S. President's National Security Advisor, General Mike Flynn, was framed and removed from his job. For further analysis, Putin's Playbook: Russia's Secret Plan to Defeat America.
This is much-much more serious than a dirty political trick. This is not supposed to happen in America, unless I have been completely naive all these years.
A serious question: Who and why placed Fiona Hill, a well known liberal from Brookings, in a job as President Trump's Russia Advisor on the National Security Council. I used to respect Fiona, although I don't share her politics. Not any more, after she testified against a democratically-elected US president, based on a fake whistleblower's complaint that Trump was rude to his native Ukraine.
Take that in, folks.
Rep. Boebert Steals The Show With ‘Let’s Go Brandon’ Dress In AOC-Inspired Fashion . . . Republican Colorado Rep. Lauren Boebert was wearing a dress that had the words “Let’s Go Brandon” during a Thursday event at Former President Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago resort. Boebert wore the dress in an apparent reference to Democratic New York Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s mid-September performance with a “Tax The Rich” dress
at the Met Gala. The Colorado rep. posted a photo of herself alongside Trump on Twitter, captioning it, “It’s not a phrase, it’s a movement! #LGB.” Daily Caller
You've got to go into the article to see the dress. It's stunning. I want one!!
BTW, no-one named Brandon from the CTTN readership list (which includes several thousand subscribers) came forward to let me know how he feels about his name being used, as part of #LGB chant. So, I will continue, for now, to use this phrase.
Let's Go Brandon!
Man Standing Atop Brooklyn Bridge Waves ‘F* Biden’ Flag, Leads ‘F* Joe Biden’ Chants . . . A New York man was seen standing atop the Brooklyn Bridge waving a “F*ck Biden” flag while leading “F*ck Joe Biden chants during a protest Wednesday. The man was leading several people in the chant as a crowd marched over the Brooklyn Bridge to protest vaccine mandates, according to a Twitter post. (RELATED: De Blasio Says Getting

Nancy Pelosi’s Push for Quick Votes on Bills Hits Snags . . . The timetable for House Speaker Nancy Pelosi to bring up Democrats’ healthcare, education and climate package slipped to Friday after lawmakers hit snags on immigration and the state and local tax deduction. The California Democrat initially told House Democrats in a closed-door meeting on Thursday that she hoped the House would vote on the bill later that day, and then vote on
the Senate-passed infrastructure bill on Friday, according to people familiar with her remarks. Progressives have been blocking the roughly $1 trillion infrastructure bill until they were satisfied with the language in the social-spending and climate-change bill. Wall Street

White House: Illegal Immigrants Could Get Government Payouts . . . Illegal immigrants who were separated from family members by U.S. border agents could get money from the government in a potential lawsuit settlement, the White House said Thursday. Directly rebutting President Joe Biden’s comments a day prior, White House principal deputy press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre told reporters the reported payments could happen. “If it
saves taxpayer dollars and puts the disastrous history of the previous administration’s use of zero tolerance and family separation behind us, the president is perfectly comfortable with the Department of Justice settling with the individuals and families who are currently in litigation with the U.S. government,” she said during a briefing in Washington. Biden traveled in 85-car motorcade before attending climate summit . . . In Europe, he went first to Rome, where the staff was immense because everyone wants to see the pope, before heading to the COP26 summit in Glasgow. The president always travels with a sizable contingent of aides, military officials, and medical officials. But this time, his retinue was padded even further for his audience with Pope Francis – his fourth. While
in Rome, an old city with many narrow roads, Biden’s motorcade was extended by Italian COVID-19 restrictions which limit passengers to four people per vehicle. White House Dossier
That’s quite a carbon tire print. Soviet Playbook. As usual.

Gen. Milley Says China Unlikely to Militarily Seize Taiwan in Near Future . . . China is unlikely to use military force to seize Taiwan in the near future, but the country’s communist regime does pose a serious threat not only to the self-ruled island, but also to the United States, Gen. Mark Milley, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, said on Nov. 3. “ Based on my analysis of China, I don’t think that it is likely
in the near future—being defined as six, 12, maybe 24 months, that kind of window,” he said in response to a question about it. Milley made the remarks while speaking at the Aspen Security Forum, an annual three-day security and foreign policy conference presented by the Washington-based Aspen Strategy Group. Epoch Times
RK counter-analysis: China will take over Taiwan during Biden's presidency.
VP Harris to chair first National Space Council meeting Dec. 1 . . . In her first official outing as chair of the National Space Council, Vice President Kamala Harris is today visiting NASA Goddard Space Flight Center to highlight the critical role US space capabilities play in combatting climate change. In her remarks, Harris will (briefly, anyway) touch upon the importance of space and the climate crisis to national security, White
House officials told Breaking Defense. Harris further will announce that the fist meeting of the council will take place Dec. 1, and will present the first imagery returns from NASA’s recently launched Landsat 9 Earth observation mission, a White House official said. The Pentagon earlier this month released a new climate change strategy, which laid out five lines of effort explaining how the Pentagon can incorporate climate change into its future planning and operations. Those
efforts include enhancing cooperation with partner nations and other US agencies that can increase knowledge about climate change, contribute to resiliency, and reduce costs. Breaking Defense
We need a serious person for this role. We are highly dependent on our satellite constellations for EVERY aspect of our war fighting capabilities, economic activity, and our civilian life. These assets must be protected and not misused for climate BS, etc.
You think cyber attacks on businesses and government agencies are bad. Think about attacks on satellites. There are multiple ways to render them inoperable, cyber just be one of those methods. Our aerospace industry is woefully unprepared for it and will be "blindsided" by these attacks, just like the IT industry and our government cyber "experts" were.
Russia and China have developed sophisticated space warfare doctrines, targeting the United States, while we were busy, for 20 years, wasting $2.2 trillion and sacrificing 6,000 American lives in Afghanistan. See Ch. 4 "Putin's Star Wars: Lazers, Jammers, and Satellite Killers" of my book, Putin's Playbook: Russia's Secret Plan to Defeat America
Nakasone: Cold War-style deterrence ‘does not comport to cyberspace’ . . . Gen. Paul Nakasone reiterated on Wednesday that traditional military deterrence “is a model that does not comport to cyberspace,” despite oft-heard calls for cyber deterrence in the wake of the latest cybersecurity incident.
Indeed, the idea that traditional deterrence does not work in cyberspace is not new. In fact, CYBERCOM formalized the view in its 2018 National Cyber Strategy. Yet many observers continue to ask how the US can completely deter adversaries such as Russia, China, Iran, North Korea, and even ransomware gangs in the cyber domain — a goal Nakasone and others have realized is practically futile. “I grew up in the deterrence world,” the CYBERCOM and National Security Agency leader told the
2021 Aspen Security Forum, referring to the Cold War years when the US and Soviet Union operated according to nuclear deterrence, given the mutually assured destruction presumed to follow a misstep by either side. Traditional deterrence is a “binary world” of “yes or no” in regards to conflict, Nakasone observed. Breaking Defense
Yeah, yeah, it looks like the "experts" don't think ANY deterrence would work. Here's a thought on deterrence, Russian-style:
My Dad would teach this to me and my sister when we were growing up, "If someone hits you, you hit them back 10 times harder, so they don't think it was too little." In Russian, чтобы мало не показалось. Remember, Sis? She, of course, took it to heart. There were frequent complaints from the teachers to my parents that she was "protecting" me and her friends a little too well.

China upholding Iranian regime with oil purchases . . . Chinese purchases of Iranian oil have steadily increased since President Biden arrived in office, with Beijing‘s blatant flouting of U.S. sanctions on the Islamic republic providing an economic lifeline to hard-liners in Tehran. The White House has come under increasing criticism for tolerating Beijing‘s purchases, which analysts say amount to indirect Chinese
support for Iran‘s nuclear weapons program, as well as Tehran‘s militant posturing and rejections of U.S. and European attempts to restore the 2015 Obama-era nuclear deal. Talks on reviving the nuclear deal have stalled but will resume Nov. 29 in Vienna, European Union officials announced this week. It is unclear whether Washington and Tehran can move closer to resuscitating the agreement. Covert Chinese support for Iran‘s economy could make hard-line Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi even
less motivated to negotiate Washington Times

Sen. Ron Johnson: Biden’s COVID-19 Vaccine Mandate Meets ‘Definition of Insanity’ . . . The Biden administration’s COVID-19 vaccine mandate for private employers, set to go into effect Friday, poses risks to some Americans, further burdens the economy, and comes close to fitting the “definition of insanity,” Sen. Ron Johnson, R-Wis., says.
“Have all these policy responses worked? The shutdowns? The mandates?” Johnson asked rhetorically during remarks Thursday at The Heritage Foundation. The Wisconsin Republican said that after 750,000 deaths in the United States related to COVID-19, trillions of dollars in additional debt, psychological harm to young children from lengthy school closures, and the loss of freedom, government’s response to the disease “has been a miserable failure.” “And at some point in time I think we
have to understand what Albert Einstein was reported to have said. The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results,” Johnson said. Daily Signal
Mass Walkouts, Protests Against Vaccine Mandates Spread Across US . . . Thousands of people across the United States took the day off from work on Nov. 3 to participate in walkouts and demonstrations in protest of CCP virus vaccine mandates. In Phoenix, Arizona, more than 200 people gathered in protest outside the Wesley Bolin Memorial Plaza. Many carried homemade signs and wore patriotic clothing in support of their message of medical
freedom. A government contractor in his 20s, who asked that his name not be used, told The Epoch Times he took the day off from his job as an engineer, knowing “they’re going to fire me” when a vaccine mandate begins on Dec. 8.
“I’m looking for other jobs,” he said. “They have no regard for an employee’s choice.” Epoch Times
DeSantis suing Biden admin over large business vaccine mandate . . . Gov. Ron DeSantis announced Thursday he and the state of Florida will be suing the Biden administration over another of its vaccine mandates. The Republican said in a press conference his state is suing the federal government because the Occupational Safety and Health Administration’s rule, which targets employers with 100 employees or more, is “not consistent with the
Constitution.” DeSantis also said he found it “interesting” how the OSHA rule took two months for it to be issued despite being deemed an “emergency power.” White House Dossier

Hopes rise for US jobs growth after slowdown in recovery . . . Economists expect US jobs growth to have picked up after two straight months of disappointing gains, as Covid-related concerns that have kept workers on the sidelines ease further. According to a consensus forecast compiled by Bloomberg, employers in the world’s largest economy are expected to have added 450,000 jobs in October, more than double the
disappointing 194,000 positions created the previous month but still short of the roughly 560,000 monthly average seen since the start of the year. The unemployment rate is expected to have taken another leg lower in October, falling to 4.7 per cent. That is down from 4.8 per cent in September and well below June’s level of 5.9 per cent. The data, which will be released by the Bureau of Labor Statistics at 8.30am US eastern daylight saving time on Friday, comes at a critical moment for
the labour market recovery, which has lost momentum in recent months. Financial Times
Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell was seen visiting the White House on Thursday . . . Mr. Powell’s term leading the central bank is set to expire next February. President Biden told reporters on Tuesday that he would announce decisions “fairly quickly” on whether he was offering Mr. Powell another term or tapping someone else to succeed him. In interviews this week, Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen has lauded Mr. Powell’s record. “I
think that Chair Powell has certainly done a good job,” she said in comments published by CNBC on Monday. “He responded very admirably to the crisis that we saw after the pandemic, and he’s established with his colleagues a new framework that is very focused on achieving full employment.” Presidents have typically announced their Fed chair nominee in October or by early November to give the Senate sufficient time to confirm their pick. For example, then-President Donald Trump announced Mr.
Powell to succeed Ms. Yellen on Nov. 2, 2017. Wall Street Journal

Americans at Cancun LGBT+ event in hiding after armed men storm beach . . . A shooting between suspected rival drug gangs broke out on the beach of a resort in Cancun, Mexico, Thursday afternoon, sending guests scrambling for safety. Mexican state authorities said armed individuals were spotted in the beach area of Hyatt Riviera Cancun and reported to police, "who took the lives of two men who are presumed to be
drug dealers." Authorities said no tourists were seriously injured or kidnapped. Fox News
Half of Americans burned out by screens, turn to podcasts, study finds . . . Americans increasingly are closing their eyes and opening their ears for their entertainment, says a study of pandemic-fueled trends. Half of consumers feel burned out by screens and now listen to digital audio podcasts in their free time, according to the National Research Group, a global strategy firm focusing on entertainment and technology. The research
firm’s Aug. 12-18 internet survey of 1,569 entertainment consumers ages 18 to 54 found that 1 out of 2 Americans said they were suffering from screen fatigue and using podcasts “to travel to new places and hear new perspectives.” Jon Penn, the firm’s CEO, compared options for video and audio entertainment to choices for dining out. “Video streaming is like going to a food hall: Video consumers use a variety of services to meet their diverse viewing needs,” Mr. Penn told The Washington Times.
The Kyle Rittenhouse Trial . . . The highly charged criminal trial of a young man accused of two homicides will have resounding implications for the doctrine of self-defense. The highly charged criminal trial of a young man accused of two homicides will have resounding implications for the doctrine of self-defense. In another place and time, Kyle Rittenhouse wouldn’t be on trial. Instead, he’d be back in school like any other
18-year-old. Or in college, or working at his job. And he’d be hailed as a hero — as an American kid who took up arms on behalf of a desperate community, and took a stand against anarchy, mayhem, and wanton destruction of private property.
Today, though, Rittenhouse is on trial for his life in a Kenosha, Wisconsin, courtroom. He’s charged with six crimes related to the events of August 25, 2020, the third night of a Black Lives Matter protest-turned-riot that had already wrecked the city and its downtown businesses. Those crimes? First-degree reckless homicide, first-degree intentional homicide, attempted first-degree intentional homicide, two counts of first-degree reckless endangerment, and misdemeanor possession of a
weapon by a person under age 18. Cumulatively, they’re more than enough to put him away for life. Patriot Post

Racist Race-Baiters Yell ‘Racism!’ . . . Winsome Sears just became the first black woman to be elected to statewide office in Virginia, but all Democrats and their Leftmedia propagandists can see is Republican “white supremacy” and “racism.” If that doesn’t sum up Tuesday’s election results and the state of the nation’s two biggest political parties, we don’t know what does.
As Sears spoke Tuesday night, she said of her family, “What you are looking at is the American Dream.” She told the story of her father’s immigration from Jamaica in the early 1960s with $1.75 to his name, and how he told her, “America was where the jobs and the opportunities were.” She recounted stepping onto American soil for the first time herself, and how even when she joined the Marine Corps she was “still a Jamaican, but this country had done so much for me that I was willing —
willing — to die for this country.” So, evidently, was her black husband, a fellow Marine. Patriot Post
The leftists have lost their minds! They just can't wrap their brains around the issue that some normal black folks, like Winsome Sears, Candace Owens, Dr. Ben Carlson, Larry Elder, Kanye West and a bunch of others, are not on board with the Leftist Radical Agenda. I love watching the Leftists twist themselves into human pretzels trying to explain this Black=Conservative "paradox". #LGB ;-)
