Rice threatens relationship with Israel . . . National Security Adviser Susan Rice denounced Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's upcoming address to a joint meeting of Congress,
calling it "destructive" to the relationship between the United States and Israel. Rice, appearing on "Charlie Rose," said that Netanyahu's decision to accept the invitation of House Speaker John Boehner to offer critical views of a potential nuclear deal with Iran shortly before the Israeli elections has "injected a degree of partisanship, which is not only unfortunate. Saudis put man to death for renouncing Muslim faith . . . An Islamic court in Saudi Arabia has sentenced a man to death for renouncing his Muslim faith, the English-language daily Saudi Gazette reported on
Tuesday. The man, in his 20s, posted an online video ripping up a copy of Islam's holy book, the Koran, and hitting it with a shoe, the newspaper reported. Reuters Our close allies. Chris Kyle killer guilty . . . Erath County District Court Judge Jason Cashon sentenced Eddie Ray Routh to life in prison without the possibility of parole, then turned the floor over to the families of the two
men the defendant had just been found guilty of murdering. Relatives of “American Sniper” Chris Kyle did not speak, but the brother and father of victim Chad Littlefield wanted to have their say. The National Institutes of Health (NIH) is spending over $200,000 on a study involving “gender affirmation” and incarcerated transwomen in San Francisco.
