Rubio announces, calling for generational change . . . Florida GOP Sen. Marco Rubio on Monday announced his 2016 presidential candidacy, asking for the chance to create a new American Dream and to be part of a new generation of leaders. "My parents achieved what came to be
known as the American Dream,” said Rubio, a first-generation Cuban-American, at his official announcement. “But now, too many Americans are starting to doubt whether achieving that dream is still possible. … Yesterday is over, and we are never going back.” Fox News

Corker and Democrats nearing deal on Iran bill . . . Top Democrats and Republicans on the Senate Foreign Relations Committee are nearing a deal on legislation that would allow Congress to review any nuclear agreement with Iran, a potential breakthrough that
could herald a veto-proof majority for the measure. Key congressional negotiators are confident they can strike a bipartisan agreement just hours ahead of a Tuesday afternoon committee vote on the bill.

Obama pleads with Jews to support Iran deal . . . Obama made an “emphatic and passionate” case during the nearly 90-minute meeting
with Jewish organizations that the deal is the best way to prevent Iran from acquiring a nuclear weapon, according to an official from a group that participated. “Concerns were raised and there was a fair amount of back and forth,” the official said. “There were some folks walking in who support and favor the deal and there were some who have deep, deep concerns about the deal. . The Syrian government forces likely used toxic chemicals in several barrel bomb attacks in the Idlib governorate between March 16-31, according to the new Human Rights Watch report.
